The public purpose of the Holiday Park Park and Recreation District is to provide, operate, maintain, and improve parks, recreational facilities, common areas, and related services for the benefit, health, comfort, convenience, and recreational enjoyment of property owners and authorized residents, family members, guests, and other persons permitted to use District facilities within the District.

The District is an independent special taxing district and political subdivision of the State of Florida. The District is authorized to acquire, own, operate, maintain, improve, and provide facilities and services necessary or desirable to carry out the purposes of the District, and to levy assessments and exercise the powers granted by its charter and applicable Florida law.
